The company's Spring Drill was held in Arrow Rock at Ruffles where we enjoyed good food and even better hospitality.
Ruffle's antebellum style home was built in 1836 and provided shelter to the company during the spring drill.
The company enjoyed the great cooking and the accommodations in the barn and chicken house. Especially the Chicken House.
While in Arrow Rock the company traveled to the Sappington Cemetery where they paid their respects to Governor Claibourn Fox Jackson.
Vern brought Jenny along and the company fired several volleys to let the village of Arrow Rock know that there was something going on at Ruffles.
